The Wildhammers are a full clan, much more 3-dimensional than "primal dwarves". They've got a lot of different facets, and I think those different facets make almost any dwarven class appropriate. Of the classes you're considering, I personally think warrior makes more sense. The Wildhammers are known warriors. Currently, though, he seems to be pretty lame, having gotten kicked out of his home by other Warlocks who we can wipe the floor with. Demon Hunters seem like a strong contender for strongest overall class since they do use a fair bit of magic. Generally magic>might in the Warcraft lore. Taken as an average, Demon Hunters or Death Knights (it's a toss up between them) for sure. The Wildhammers are known warriors. Think of the Wildhammers who, through all of the time between the Second and Third Wars, protected the skies across Eastern Kingdom territory with their griffon riders.
