There's a rubber 'O' ring that seals the sensor hole.Check fuses, not visually but with a tester or meter. Tester will light on back of fuse when fuse is open (ignition on). Meter should either show "0VDC", or "battery voltage" when checking both fuse tabs on the back side of the fuse to ground.
